Kuma Designers Collective was born from a simple idea: that Balkan fashion designers deserve a global platform that matches the quality of their work.
Growing up in Belgrade, surrounded by a rich textile tradition and the city's creative energy, Nataša Jovanović was fascinated by fashion from an early age. She studied fashion design and art history, working alongside local designers and ateliers.
Over years spent in the fashion industry, from Belgrade to Milan to Paris, she noticed how difficult it was for Balkan designers to reach a wider audience despite their exceptional talent and craftsmanship.
Kuma Designers Collective is her answer to that challenge. A platform that not only showcases designers' work, but tells the story behind every collection: of heritage, innovation, and the passion that drives Balkan fashion.
Our mission is clear: to be a bridge between the Balkan fashion scene and the rest of the world, presenting designers who blend tradition with contemporary expression.
